Cake on the Lawn is back! Join us on the Lawn for an afternoon of cake, live music, and community. Student bakers will be bringing their own cake creations to share, while bands and a cappella groups perform throughout the event. There will also be a raffle featuring prizes from local businesses.
Whether you are bringing a cake or coming to enjoy them, this is your chance to eat cake on the Lawn with friends, meet new people, and be part of one of UVA’s sweetest traditions.

Bring a cake to share and be part of the event as one of our featured bakers. You will contribute to the experience and enjoy cakes from fellow student bakers.
🍰 Cake Enjoyer
Come enjoy unlimited cake tastings, live performances, and the full Cake on the Lawn experience. No baking required.

Official Baker Guidelines
• Cakes must serve at least 12 people. (examples include a 9×13 inch cake, two-layer 8-inch round cake, or equivalent size)
• Cakes must be able to remain outdoors
without refrigeration
• Bakers must arrive during the designated
setup window
• Each baker ticket includes one cake
